Cancellation & Refund Policy

All requests for cancellation must be submitted in writing to [Insert Email Address]. The date of the email receipt will determine the refund eligibility based on the timeline below.

1. 30+ Days Prior to Training Start Date: Eligible for a Full Refund, minus 25% for GST and administrative processing fee.
2. 15–29 Days Prior to Training Start Date: Eligible for a 50% Refund of the total amount paid, minus 25% for GST and administrative processing fee.
3. Less than 15 Days Prior to Training Start Date: No refunds will be issued under normal circumstances. Note: Failure to attend the training without prior written notification (No Show) will result in the complete forfeiture of the registration fee.
4. Medical & Emergency Clause: The EMDR Association understands that unexpected life events happen. Exceptions to the strict 15-day “No Refund” rule will be considered exclusively under the following conditions: Eligible Emergencies: Sudden severe illness, hospitalization, medical emergency of the participant, or bereavement of an immediate family member. Documentation Requirement: Valid official proof (such as a signed medical certificate or hospital discharge summary) must be submitted within 7 days of the cancellation request. Resolution: Approved emergency cases will be granted a one-time credit to transfer their registration to the next available EMDR Association training batch within 12 months. No cash refunds will be provided for late-stage medical cancellations.
5. Transfer Policy: If you do not qualify for a refund but find a qualified colleague to take your place, you may request a registration transfer up to 5 days before the event. The replacement participant must meet all eligibility prerequisites for EMDR training and be approved by the administration.
6. Cancellation by the Association In the highly unlikely event that the EMDR Association cancels or indefinitely postpones the training due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., trainer illness, natural disasters, or venue issues), participants will be offered: A 100% full refund of the fee paid, or A guaranteed seat in the rescheduled or next available batch.
7. No refund or transfer of registration fees is possible for the participants attending only part of the training and requesting the fund transfer for the next training. In the event, they have to re reregister and pay full amount for their training.

Note: The association is not responsible for any travel, accommodation, or peripheral costs incurred by the participant.
